For the makers, shakers, and sonic earthquakers, all musicalinnovations and developments have come from happy accidents, compulsive tinkering, curiousimitations, and a willingness to bravely encounter failure as an avenue for discovery. “what else can this thing do?” is not only a question for musician, but also for all other artist/designers. This design aims to unpack both the play and fray by exploring, modifying, designing, and building instruments new and old, for which original works will be composed and performed throughout the final performance.
